Growing up in Surrey, UK, under the influence of your average suburban household, I developed an interest in the art of magic at an early age. But it wasn't until I was about twenty that I really got the bug. I attended a corporate dinner where a lady magician performed a Cups & Balls routine at my table. I was hooked, and immediately set out to learn how that was done, and more. I had my pudding first though.
I think it was Tiramisu...
After twenty years of nine to five, a privatisation, three corporate take-overs and some seriously bad coffee, I made a run for it and 'went pro' as an entertainer in the field of magical arts. And the best part? I absolutely love my job!
